Are you stuck in a revolving door of bad dates? Or maybe you’ve given up on finding a meaningful relationship altogether. According to dating experts David Coleman and Richard Doyle, it doesn’t have to be that way. You can have that happy, healthy relationship you’ve been looking for.
With eye-opening exercises, quizzes, and other self-assessment tools, the authors show you how to pinpoint specific aspects of your personality that have caused you to pick poorly, remain in bad relationships, or sabotage good ones. Once you understand the reasons why you choose a certain type of person, you can focus on how to choose and attract the right person for you.
Inside, you’ll learn how to avoid:
Bad Picks
·The Girdle—strives to control you
·The Dog Catcher—flees at the first sign of commitment
·The Ferrari—requires high maintenance
Bad Kissers
·The Hoover—sucks out fillings, tongue—anything
·Niagara Falls—produces enough liquid for a regatta
·The Puppy—licks you all over your face
Bad Break-ups
·The Western Union—ends relationship by letter, note, or e-mail
·The Freezer—turns from warm and caring to cold and callous
·The Fade Away—lets the relationship fade by avoiding conflict

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!
I JUST RECEIVED THIS BOOK »DATE SMART!« IN THE MAIL THIS WEEKEND AFTER HEARING SO MUCH ABOUT IT ON A LOCAL RADIO STATION. I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!! ALMOST EVERYTHING IN THAT BOOK I CAN RELATE TO. I WAS LOOKING FOR A GOOD RELATIONSHIP BOOK AND THIS ONE RANKS EXCELLENT!!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
wonderful advice
This book provides straightforward advice for more than just singles. David Coleman knows what he's talking about. I've had the opportunity of seeing him live and it's an enlightening and entertaining presentation, the feel of which he successfully captures in this book. If you're divorced, if you're tired of roller coaster relationships or even if you are a part of a happy couple, you will find something in this book to strengthen your relationship.
IM not a professional but I know Interpersonal Communication –--SAF
I have studied Interpersonal communication while i was in college for the part four years Iwas in college and this book provides only a handful of researched advice( which they did not cite) and the rest is just opinion and stereotype. People DO NOT Take this book seriously.
Relationship Questions: Answered
In a style that's fast and fun to read, this book answered so many of the relationship questions I've wondered about for years. The subject matter is presented in a way that's positive and reassuring- that I'm not just a freak who's bad at dating! I got this book on a recommendation from a friend figuring it wouldn't help me, yet now I feel like I know how to start looking for a truly positive and meaningful relationship. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to seriously understand relationships, without giving up a light-hearted and fun approach!
eye-opening
this book will scarily tell you what relationship patterns you have (who/what kind of person you're attracted to), how to figure out if another person is a good match for you (personality, integrity, morals, ethics, intelligence, etc), and how to get your »picker« fixed (being able to pick good guys/girls).
i would recommend this book to everyone i know- this is powerful information. it's not a beat-around-the-bush type … it gets down to business.
